WORKSHOP TINTA DA CHINA
30 Maio - Centro de Memória, Vila Do Conde

The print is just as important as the act of designing it.
The house as a mental space, a place of thought, a state of mind that goes far beyond mere urbanistic connotations or a specific city model, to reflect emotional states that are difficult to explain.
I was born on April 25, 1981, in Vila do Conde, with no knack for playing; drawing became my refuge, a place where all dreams were possible.
I graduated in Fine Arts, further deepening my knowledge with a Master’s degree in Fine Art Printmaking at the Fundación C.I.E.C. and a Master’s degree in Artistic Production at the U.P. Valencia.
I have been a grant recipient and award winner in both Portugal and Spain, and, as an invited artist, I represented Portugal in Biennials and Triennials across Spain, Serbia, Austria, China, and Germany.
Featured in numerous public and private collections, my work has been extensively exhibited in Portugal, Spain, Austria, Germany, China, Lithuania, Poland, Italy, Serbia, the United States of America, Colombia, and Guatemala.
I have always dreamed with my feet firmly on the ground, never fearing to fight for what I believe in, and perhaps that is why I resonate so deeply with the words of Sebastião da Gama:
'By the dream we go, moved and silent.
Do we arrive?
Whether or not there is fruit, by the dream we go.'
That is who I was yesterday, who I am today, and who I want to be tomorrow.
